Good news for the Yountville Town budget as finance staff reports that TOT – the transient occupancy tax that accounts for more than half all town revenue – brought in $1.2 million more than was anticipated in the 2022-23 budget. Also known as a hotel bed tax, TOT is a fee assessed on lodging facilities and paid for by the visitors who rent the rooms.

Also, there was an Elvis sighting in Yountville on Saturday and rumor has it there was a lot of Shakin’ Going On! As well as a lot of falling in love, again.
