On a recent chilly winter morning, under the guidance of Yountville Arts Commission Chair Ronda Schaer, Gilroy sculptor Richard Starks personally delivered his latest piece to the Yountville Art Walk. The sculpture, called “Heartsong,” is a striking bright-red sculpture that blends a musical note with a heart and now graces the corner of Yount Street and Finnell Road.

Over the past decade, Starks has become the Art Walk’s best-selling artist, placing his sculptures in nearly every corner of town featuring a variety of different subjects. “Heartsong” joins other works by Starks including “Cubes and Tubes” and “Love Wine Too” that are currently on display in town.

Be sure to stop by on your next walk through town to admire this fun, bright new addition to the Yountville Art Walk.
