To the Editor:
I am a 77-year-old native born citizen of the United States. I loved my country when it was a democracy, but today I wish my grandparents had stayed in Norway and Sweden.
This is not politics. This is tyranny. That’s why it feels so different from other national traumas we have experienced and overcome since my by birth in 1948, when we were, indeed, proud Americans, having helped free over five million people.
We must find a way NOW to free ourselves and regain our own freedom from tyranny.
