Yountville native and Vintage High School graduate Miles Tenscher came back home on Saturday as a freshman member of the UC Berkeley Golden Bears baseball squad, which played a scrimmage at Cleve Borman Field on the grounds of the Veterans Home of California. The scrimmage game was hosted by the Napa Valley Baseball Club, which plays its home games at Borman Field and for which Tenscher played as a teen.

Also in this week’s Sun, Pam Reeves and Eric Knight still lead all candidates in the race for two seats on the Town Council even as ballots are still being counted, and Yountville’s Zoning and Design Review Board got the first look at potential options for housing on the Yountville Commons project.
