Suspicious death at Bardessono Hotel under investigation

Napa Valley News Group Update at 11:15 a.m.: Napa County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating what they term a “suspicious death” at Bardessono in Yountville, according to Sgt. James Baumgartner, Napa County sheriff for Yountville. Baumgartner said they will remain throughout the day at the site where yellow tape is blocking off a wing of the 65-room hotel.
The Napa County Sheriff’s office said they received a call at 7:20 a.m. and arrived at the hotel three minutes later. No arrest has been made.
Alain Negueloua, general manager at Bardessono, said he understands one of the “occupants in the room” reported the death. “All I know right now is that there was a death,” he said at 9 a.m.. “I don’t know any details.”
The hotel remains open to the public.
