A Yountville Moment: Picnic with a Vet marks third anniversary at Veterans Home

The Picnic with a Vet took place on Aug. 5. We had planned to hold it at the picnic grounds up on the hill at the Veterans Home but had to move it to Grant Hall because of the anticipated heat.

It was on Aug. 3, 2023, that we held our first Picnic with a Vet; therefore, this was our third anniversary! The resident veterans loved our time spent with them, the lunch we hosted, and there were smiles all around.
