Durham and Wolosz continue free Yountville Thanksgiving Dinner – Make reservations and donations by Nov. 21
Yountville residents Jeff Durham and Joey Wolosz are once again organizing free Thanksgiving dinners, served in person or delivered to community members.
Durham and Wolosz, proprietors of Gentleman Farmer Wines, took over the production of this gift to the community in 2017. They are carrying on the Yountville tradition with the support of local businesses, community groups and volunteers.
Thanksgiving dinner deliveries will be distributed on Wednesday, Nov. 26, after 4 p.m.
The sit-down dinner is set for Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 27, at the Yountville Community Center. According to Durham, the doors open at 11:30 a.m.
Send an email to Durham at [email protected] to volunteer, donate or sign up for a meal.
Donations supporting the free dinners can be made to the Town of Yountville Community Foundation and dropped off at the desk at the Yountville Community Center.
“We start cooking on Monday, (Nov. 24),” Durham said via email, “So the deadline is Friday, Nov. 21. Due to the current economic situation, we did not solicit donations this year,” he added, “With the grant money that we received from the Town of Yountville, we will be preparing the meals.”
