Imagine Yountville grant program opens Sept. 17

The Town of Yountville Community Foundation will open applications on Sept. 17 for the 2027 Imagine Yountville Grant Program, offering grants of up to $20,000 for projects designed to benefit Yountville residents.

The foundation was established in 2017 to promote and raise funds for community-based programs serving Yountville. Priorities include youth recreation and education, community wellness and enrichment, senior programs and support services, parks and facility improvements, cultural arts, volunteer-led initiatives and events and partnerships with community organizations.

The Imagine Yountville Grant Program, launched in 2025, is funded through financial sponsorship from the Town of Yountville. The town established the fund within the foundation and directed its board to develop a grant program to distribute the money for projects benefiting residents.

Eligible projects should be accessible to the community and improve residents’ quality of life. Small grants range from $250 to $2,500, while large grants range from $2,500 to $20,000. Applicants are not required to be nonprofit organizations or have 501(c)(3) status.

An in-person orientation at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 22 at the Yountville Community Center will include an overview of the application process, a question-and-answer period and presentations from previous grant recipients. Questions from the session will be recorded and posted online for those unable to attend.

Applications are due Oct. 14, and applicants are expected to be notified of their status by Nov. 9. Funding will begin Jan. 1, 2027, and projects generally must be completed by Dec. 31, 2027, unless approved as multiyear projects.

More information, including applications and program materials, are available on the Town of Yountville Community Foundation website www.toycf.org.
