In this week’s Sun: A home built some 135 years ago that was supposed to have been part of a renovation and expansion project was demolished over the weekend, leading town staff to issue a stop work order and initiate discussions with the developer to find out what happened.

Sheriff’s deputies made several arrests in the last few weeks, including a woman who was in possession of illegal drugs for sale as well as three people who stole expensive E-bicycles from Hotel Villagio.

Also, Willie Brown Jr. was in town to promote a fundraiser for Highway 29 Media Co., a new public benefit corporation formed to keep the Yountville Sun and the Calistoga Tribune printing.
