Yountville residents celebrated the Fourth of July in myriad ways on Tuesday, soaking up the sun and the patriotic vibes in town as well as at the Veterans Home. While many of the Veterans Home’s residents who live in an assisted, licensed-care building were enjoying their first big outing since the onset of COVID, some were unable to attend as the disease is still impacting the frail and elderly population.

Also, Napa Valley Vine Trail officials say the Yountville-to-St. Helena section is nearing the design and planning phase. But money to build it is yet to be found.
