After 28 years in the building now known as V Marketplace, Gallery 1870 – one of only three tenants remaining – has been asked by the property owner to move out as of June 30. Gary Jabara, a principal in the business that owns V Marketplace, said his tenants were aware for some time that their month-to-month lease wouldn’t be renewed when retrofitting and remodeling of the historic building begins.

Power to a large swath of Yountville and surrounding areas was knocked out Monday when a Yountville resident, crashed his pickup truck into a large power pole on Silverado Trail between Oak Knoll Avenue and Yountville Crossroad.
