Letter to the Editor – Vice Mayor invites public to office hours on Commons project

Sun Letters to the Editor Graphic

Dear Editor,

As a member of the Yountville Town Council, I am aware that there are concerns, questions, and misunderstandings surrounding the Commons process and project. I have held two days of office hours this last week, and want to reach out to as many residents as I can to invite you to my next scheduled group of office hours.

I look forward to comments, concerns and questions and hope to address those issues through a holistic understanding of the design, mix and aims of the project.

If you are interested in talking about The Yountville Commons, please look at your calendars to see if you can make any of these dates and times.

Thursday, Feb. 26, 4 – 5:30 p.m.
Monday, March 2, 2:30 – 4 p.m.
Wednesday, March 4, 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.
Thursday, March 5, 12 – 1:30 p.m.
Monday, March 9, 1 – 3 p.m.
Tuesday, March 10, 4 – 5:30 p.m.

Just drop by anytime during these hours and join the discussion. The meetings will be held at the Yountville Commons site in room 11, the Schmitt Boardroom, just around the north corner of Schmitt Hall.

Though we have been in this process for two years, we are just entering into the more concrete data portion of the process, it is very important to hear from you.

I am interested in getting your comments first-hand and would like to share what I know about the process and the project. Let’s make it a fruitful and creative conversation that moves our understanding forward.

With appreciation of Yountville community voices,

Pam Reeves
Vice Mayor, Yountville Town Council
