Napa Valley News Group adds audio to online stories
This week the Napa Valley News Group (NVNG) bolstered accessibility to online news coverage on the Napa County Times, Calistoga Tribune and Yountville Sun sites. Using the Trinity Audio technology, an option to listen to stories has been implemented for all three news outlets, creating a more immersive user experience. Each published story now features an option to listen, at the top of the page.
Trinity Audio also supports non-native speakers, and with a simple click. Listeners can choose between English, Spanish, German, French, Chinese and Italian.
“We have now added an audio option to the Napa Valley News Group stories published online from three of our media outlets,” said NVNG Board Chair Marc Hand, “This is an exciting text step in the evolution of our local news platform, as this powerful technology increases accessibility, inclusivity and news consumption options for our readers.”
