In this week’s Sun, we report on news that the United States Postal Service is looking for a new home for the Oakville Post Office, located in a trailer behind Oakville Grocery. Property owner Jean-Charles Boisset said he wants to reconfigure the space and construct a new building for the Post Office on the property with the support of the USPS, but postal officials said this week that they are seeking “alternatives” for the rural station’s operations.
