This week in the Yountville Sun, we cover the process the town will go through to develop a public mixed-use project known as Yountville Commons on the site of the former Yountville Elementary School. It will be the largest development project in Yountville in decades, and the Town Council wants to hear from all residents about what they would like to see on the nearly eight-acre property, including Town Hall.

We also report this week on the departure of Yountville Planning and Building Department director Irene Borba and the search for her replacement. In the interim, a consulting planner who’s very familiar with Yountville has been hired to fill in in her absence.
