In this week’s Sun, meet the Mixed Nutts, a slow-pitch softball team made up of veterans and veteran relatives that plays games at Cleve Borman Field on the grounds of the Yountville Veterans Home. The self-proclaimed “Harlem Globetrotters of baseball” are in league with the Tug McGraw Foundation, which schedules games for the team against opponents that include Yountville firefighters, community members and local businesses.
Also this week, we check in with Town Council members Eric Knight and Pam Reeves, whose council seats will be on the Nov. 5 General Municipal Election ballot.
