In this week’s Sun: The California Department of Veterans Affairs said this week that it believes last Friday’s positive E. coli test from its municipal water supply – the second in three months – was a “false positive” and that the water is fine for consumption. Yountville Town officials, however, said they are working with CalVet and the state’s department of drinking water to get to the bottom of the problem.

Also, residents brushed up on their emergency preparedness skills at a fire extinguisher training session hosted by the Town of Yountville in partnership with CAL FIRE/Napa County Fire and Napa Firewise.
