Yountville Sheriff Blotter – Erratic, naked subject detained early this morning
Sgt. James Baumgartner from the Napa County Sheriff’s office in Yountville also reported that just after 7 a.m., on Thursday, Sept. 4, officers were dispatched to an apartment complex at 6414 Washington St. where, reportedly, a naked female was acting erratically and carrying a weapon. Deputies detained the woman, who became unresponsive in a medical emergency. They used an automated external defibrillator (AED) to monitor her heart rate and administered two doses of Narcan, the brand name for naloxone, a medication used to reverse opioid overdoses. The subject, a 29-year-old non-resident of Yountville, regained consciousness before AMR paramedics and Cal Fire arrived. She was transported to Queen of the Valley Hospital for unknown medical issues.
Baumbartner said the incident occurred before they were called to Bardessono Hotel and Spa for a suspicious death, and the two incidents were unrelated. A weapon was never found.
