Yountville Sheriff Blotter – Gas line ruptured near Clementine
Sgt. James Baumgartner from the Napa County Sheriff’s office in Yountville reported that on Monday, Sept. 8, a construction crew ruptured a gas line while digging at the Clementine restaurant. CalFire and Napa County Sheriff deputies responded. Washington Street was closed between Yount Street and Humboldt Avenue in both directions for about 20 minutes. PG&E responded to the scene and was able to quickly cap the leak. No evacuations were requested or ordered. The roadway was quickly reopened with no risk to the public.
