Yountville Twilight Market continues tonight

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Tonight is the third Yountville Twilight Market of the season. I was reminded by our contributing writer Ranndy Piña who reported that just over a month ago he and his wife Lin were on their morning walk around town when they stopped to see the progress being made on Clementine (the restaurant set to open in the former Pacific Blues / Platform 8 / Coqueta space).

“We were approached by a gentleman who asked if we were locals.  When we said yes, he introduced himself as Gary Jabara,” Piña said, “We already knew who he was. Over the course of the next half-hour, or so, we talked about the history of that building and the painstaking efforts being made to restore and preserve it accurately as a historical building.”

Jabara owns The Estate from Villagio to Vintage House, including V Marketplace and what is about to become Clementine.

The Estate is the site of the Yountville Twilight Market. In addition to this evening, future dates include July 4 and 18, August 1, 15 and 29, September 12 and 26 and October 10.

Yaritza Cruz, marketing and events coordinator for The Estate Yountville, shared the details with Ranndy Piña. “I’m excited to share that Tacos Don Carlos will be joining us as the food option at this week’s Twilight Market, along with our usual live music and vendors. I know food has been a missing piece, so I’m really glad to bring it back for tomorrow’s event, our biggest market yet, featuring over 20 vendors!”

The Yountville Twilight Market will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. every other Friday through Oct. 10 at The Estate Yountville. This is a new, biweekly summer evening event for locals and visitors with artisan vendors and live music. New offerings and rotating participants. 6481 Washington St., Yountville.

“It might be fun to stop by and check it out. It’s on the North side of Clementine,” Ranndy Piña added, “Yountville needs more evening entertainment and music – And no cover charge!”
