Yountville Election Forum to feature mayor, Town Council candidates Sept. 21

The Yountville Chamber of Commerce will host a September public forum with candidates for mayor and Town Council in Yountville’s Nov. 3 municipal election.

Set for Monday, Sept. 21, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., the Yountville November 2026 Election Forum will be held in the Generations Room at the Yountville Community Center, 6516 Washington St. The event is free and open to the public.

Richard Hall will moderate the forum, which will allow residents to hear from the seven candidates seeking three elected positions and learn their perspectives on community issues.

Incumbent Mayor Marjorie Mohler, seeking reelection, is being challenged by Joe Tagliaboschi.

Five candidates are running for two seats on the Town Council: Jessi Bugden, Matthew Chrzanowski, incumbent Robin McKee, incumbent Hillery Bolt Trippe and Jill Turner.

The forum comes as Yountville voters prepare to choose town leaders amid ongoing community discussions about the future of the Yountville Commons, fiscal priorities, and transparency and public participation, as well as broader questions about balancing tourism and economic activity with residents’ quality of life.

Advance registration is encouraged through the Yountville Chamber of Commerce’s online calendar at Yountville.com.

Residents may also submit proposed questions and topics when registering. Chamber officials said time may not allow moderators to address every submission, but the responses will help shape the discussion and identify issues of particular concern to the community.
