Vintners Social Club by K. LAZ to open in Yountville’s former JCB Tasting Salon space
A new wine-focused destination is set to open this fall in the former JCB Tasting Salon space at Washington and Mulberry Streets in Yountville.
Inspired by wine bars and private clubs found throughout Europe, the new Vintners Social Club by K. LAZ (VSC) will combine the benefits of a private members club with the welcoming spirit of a neighborhood wine bar.
VSC is being designed as a gathering place where members and guests can return regularly to discover new wines, engage with industry leaders and connect with a community united by an interest in wine, food, culture and hospitality.
“With Vintners Social Club by K. LAZ, I set out to create the kind of place I always wished existed in Napa Valley, a gathering place where great wine becomes the starting point for deeper connection and conversation,” said Laz.

“We are creating a community that extends beyond wine, bringing together acclaimed chefs, artisanal producers, entrepreneurs, authors and other tastemakers who contribute to the character and culture of Napa Valley. At its heart is a simple philosophy: in the region where these wines are grown, they should be enjoyed at their most reasonable prices
“Wine is the foundation, but VSC is ultimately about connection and discovery,” Laz added.
The wine program will feature producers from Napa Valley and California as well as international estates. Members and guests will explore rare wines, older vintages, rising stars and highly allocated labels complemented by a seasonal menu. Club members will have access to The Members List, a collection of wines offered at member pricing.
Laz’s career in the wine industry spans nearly two decades, including 12 years as director of wine for domestic and international tenure at Dean & DeLuca.
In 2015, Laz founded K. Laz Wine Collection in Yountville. She is also the founder of Inspire Napa Valley, a nonprofit organization that has raised more than $11 million for Alzheimer’s and dementia research nationally and for local care initiatives.
Membership opportunities for individuals and businesses are now available ahead of the club’s planned fall opening.
