Yountville’s watchdog Rocky finds a new home

One of Yountville’s most noticeable Hospitality Hounds has found a new home!
Rocky the Watchdog, who spent two years in Yountville guarding the intersection of Washington and Yount streets, also known as the “Y,” was sold this past weekend and has moved on to a new home in Napa. His new owners fell in love with Rocky and his “Never Give Up” attitude and brought him home to begin his new life in a private yard.
Rocky the Watchdog was created by North Carolina sculptor Elizabeth Laul Healy and was installed in Yountville in August 2024. Yountville Art Commission Chair Ronda Schaer directed the sale and coordinated Rocky’s move to his new home.
The Art Commission received a commission on the sale of the Yountville Art Walk sculpture, with the proceeds supporting their work in town. Best wishes, Rocky!
