In this week’s Sun, we share images from Yountville Night Out, in which eight neighborhoods held simultaneous parties, and town and county officials – some on horseback – visited each one.

Also this week, the Sun learned that Veterans Home resident Robert Moore has officially filed paperwork to run for a seat on the Town Council, and former Yountville Public Works director Joe Tagliaboschi has picked up the paperwork but not yet filed it. The two incumbents whose terms are expiring – Eric Knight and Pamela Reeves – have said they intend to seek re-election but as of Wednesday, neither had returned their nomination paperwork.

And finally, we take a look at some of the inductees of the Yountville Veterans Home Hall of Fame, created to recognize the contributions of some residents to their fellow residents’ well-being.
